Kipling has always had a deep love for art. Throughout high school, she poured herself into advanced art classes, dreaming of studying art in college. She took that dream further by enrolling at Ringling College of Art and Design in 2020, but after a year and a half, she left the program, feeling that the rigid structure of school had dampened the passion she once felt for her craft.
Now, Kipling works as an assistant at a vet clinic, where she cares for animals while navigating what comes next in her life and career. She’s married and shares her home with two beloved cats, BeetleJuice and Pearl. Together, they explore the world—going on walks, camping, and visiting family. Kipling believes that her cats deserve to experience as much of life as possible, and their playful, curious nature has reignited her desire to find beauty in the simple, everyday moments.
Kipling is learning to draw inspiration from the little things that many people overlook—the oddities of nature, the way sunlight catches on a dusty windowsill, or the quirky behaviors of her cats. She’s working to shift her perspective and embrace the weird and wonderful things that make life interesting. This newfound focus on the unnoticed and the subtle is helping her rediscover her love for art, reminding her that inspiration is all around, in even the most unexpected places.
